We imagine public space as something people can actively shape together. Not a fixed environment controlled only by institutions or permanent infrastructure.

Mo Bil exists to support more open, adaptable, and collective ways of occupying space through modular tools that can move, evolve, and be reconfigured by the communities who use them.

Our vision is a city where cultural initiatives, mutual aid, education, celebration, experimentation, and everyday gathering can emerge more freely through accessible infrastructure designed for reuse, collaboration, and autonomy.

Collective infrastructure

Mo Bil develops modular and mobile placemaking infrastructure that helps people activate public space collectively.

Through open documentation, adaptable systems, and shared building practices, we provide tools that enable communities, organizations, artists, and grassroots projects to create temporary or evolving spaces for social, cultural, and civic use.

We aim to make spatial intervention more accessible by encouraging:
collective ownership and participation,
modular and repairable design,
local adaptation and reuse,
lightweight deployment in diverse contexts,
and knowledge sharing through open documentation.

Mo Bil is both a toolkit and a growing ecosystem for building more flexible, participatory forms of public space.
