assembly structure visibility
A stacked tube-and-connector tower — height and visibility from the same 1,33 m module. Banners, light or a lookout, depending on what you mount on it.
- Type: Structure

4. Assembly
The tour is stacked from connector nodes. Each node = the connector assembly (2x T + 1x X), joined by tubes. Built flat, then tilted upright.
- Lay out the base level. Three squares side by side on the ground; join the nodes with straight tubes.
- Add the verticals. One straight tube into each ground node, pointing up; connect.
- Close the top surface. Cap with straight tubes.
- Add panels. Mount square panels where wanted.
- Tilt 90 and add the base. Stand the structure upright on its hinge, then add the base for stability.
Each step maps to a stage in the viewer above.
5. Safety & correct use
Build safety
- Pinch points at every connector - keep fingers clear when seating joints.
- Don't hammer pins with the frame unsupported; seat the joint by hand first.
- Tilting a tall frame upright needs enough hands - never lift it short-handed.
Use & load limits
- Max vertical load (stage/roof): . kg (to define / test)
- Do not climb the frame unless rated and ballasted.
- Wind: above . km/h, remove banners and ballast or take down. (define - tall, wind-critical)
- Never leave a tall configuration up unattended in changing weather.
Ballast / anchoring
- Footprint anchoring with water weights at the base corners - mandatory for any raised or sail-bearing configuration.
- Ropes to fixed points where available.
- Minimum ballast: . kg per corner (define per configuration).
6. Takedown & storage
- Remove add-ons and ballast first.
- Tilt the frame back down flat before breaking joints.
- Pull top pins, lift off top surface.
- Pull verticals.
- Break the base levels. Nodes can stay assembled for next time, or break to flat-pack.
- Packs into: normal bike trailer (tubes + euroboxes for connectors).
- Store dry. Check pins aren't bent before repacking.
